Dr. Christine Grace Giordano

ABOUT DR. CHRISTINE
Dr. Christine Giordano is an Internal Medicine US board certified practicing physician with extensive experience in health education and migrant health services. She works in primary care and hospital medicine, in Native American health services and in community health centers that primarily serve immigrant communities. She has an interest in managing chronic, non-communicable diseases.
Dr. Christine earned her doctor of medicine (MD) degree from the Rutgers New Jersey Medical School and completed her residency in Internal Medicine at the Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. She also graduated summa cum laude from Washington and Lee University with a B.SC. in Biochemistry and Poverty & Human Capabilities Studies.
In addition to her clinical work, she produces medical content for the general public on a variety of health topics. Formerly a clinical faculty member at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, PA, she has experience training medical students and residents. Since moving to Ethiopia, she has continued to work clinically while advising and consulting on health systems and health education. She passionate about her work on developing health programs to support improved health outcomes in Ethiopia.
